The Antiseptica chem.-pharm. Produkte GmbH was founded in 1976. The owner and general manager is Dr. Hans-Joachim Molitor. The enterprise is privately owned and remains independent of major corporations. The share capital amounts to EUR 660,000.
In January 2006 Ms. Michaela Hovsepian was appointed Director of Administration, Marketing and Sales. In February 2007 the medical-scientific department was relocated under the administration of Dr. U. Weber (Antiseptica Med. Wiss., Greifswald).
From the very beginning the focus was on scientifically substantiated product quality. This is demonstrated by the latest testing methods of the German Society for Hygiene and Microbiology (DGHM) and CEN (01.09.2001/04.02.2002), and is documented in the current VAH list of disinfectants (Association for Applied Hygiene list, 01.01.2008) and in the register of expert opinions of the ÖGHMP (Austrian association for Hygiene, Microbiology and Preventive Medicine). Close cooperation with the scientific community is evidenced by our sponsorship of and cooperation with a number of national and international scientific institutions (DGHM, DGKH, ÖGHMP, IFIC, CHICA, EURIDIKI, among others).
The company has always been strongly export-orientated. Approx. 45 % of turnover is generated abroad: Products from Antiseptica are now at work in 33 different countries. 2001 saw the foundation of the first subsidary company, Antiseptica Austria.
The company and the production facilities are certified according to ISO, CE and GMP.
